U.S. Embassy statement on Parliamentary Elections The U.S. Embassy congratulates Jordanians on their parliamentary elections. We recognize the Independent Election Commission, election workers, and professional observation groups around the country for supporting voters to be heard through the ballot box. The United States will continue to support Jordan’s efforts to increase civic and political participation and strengthen inclusive, accountable, and transparent democratic systems.
